New Help Offered For Would-Be Homeowners with Less-than-perfect Credit History

For those whose less-than-perfect credit history is preventing them from buying or refinancing a home, help may be on the way. It comes through the new Full Spectrum Lending Division of Countrywide Home Loans, Inc., the nation's largest independent mortgage lender, which offers a variety of competitively priced, fixed- and adjustable-rate products to borrowers who may have been turned down for "A" credit quality loans.

"There are many hard-working people who, for one reason or another, have experienced a short-term financial hardship such as divorce, medical bills, job loss or high debt ratios," said Joe Harvey, president of Full Spectrum Lending. "But these borrowers, many of whom are optimistic that their credit will return to '‘A' status once they get back on their feet, often have the financial ability to qualify for a loan today."

The programs may also benefit people who own several properties, and self-employed borrowers who may have difficulty verifying income. To find out if you qualify, call (800) 256-4444 if you live in the eastern portion of the United States or (800) 257-1603 if you live west of the Mississippi.(NAPSI)
