The concept vehicle, called the "SSC," features the latest in safety, security and communication technology. According to Delco Electronics president and CEO, Gary W. Dickinson, the SSC vehicle is loaded with more advanced electronic systems than any automobile in history. Among its numerous safety enhancements is a forewarn forward, side and rear collision warning system and night vision which allows the driver to see several hundred meters beyond what they could normally see with conventional headlights.
