A not-for-profit organization funded by the Catholic Church, has taught work and living skills to people with disabilities and placed them with various companies, including Exxon and Chili's Restaurant, since 1986. | Minors in Possession For more information, call Corey Kirkland (713) 333-2311. Meets Monday evenings Galveston and Clear Lake offices of the Bay Area Council on Drugs and Alcohol. A six hour educational program designed for minors who have been issued a citation for misdemeanor possession of alcohol. Cost is $25.00 per person. |

The employment service- as well as a substance abuse program- grew out of a home nursing business, started in 1979. Home nurses and physical therapists help people with disabilities in finding employment. |
