A Medicare-certified hospice offering skilled and compassionate care to those with six months or less to live. This care is provided in the patient's home and in beds at St. Joseph Hospital. The hospice team is comprised of physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, aides, and volunteers. The hospice team provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support to the patient and the family, and provides bereavement support to the loved one's family for at least one year after the patient's death.
